SPANISH FOOTBALL - LA LIGA - ROUND 26 /2008 SUNDAY GAMES RESULTS

This Sunday sees the rest of the Round 26 games, after yesterdays
excellent "Super Saturday" results ( see below post for videos &
round up). As yesterday lots of goals & great games with the following
results, scorers & images.

















VALLADOLID lost to RACING 0-1 with the last minute goal from
DUSCHER in the 86th min. An even game that got away from
Valladolid with a lapse at the end.

















Big scoring & one way game at Sevilla, with the "other" city team
REAL BETIS winning 4-0 REAL MURCIA. The goal scorers were
ARZO, EDU, PAVONE ( pictured above) & SOBIS. Nice 3ºpoints
for Betis that puts them in the middle of the classification table &
momentarily away from the danger zone.


















Great game at GETAFE who ended losing the games grip & allowing
MALLORCA to comeback & draw the match 3-3. Getafe got off to a
flying start with goals in the 1ºst & 10th min via COTELO ( above) &
ALBIN respectatively. Quickly & 3ºmins later GUIZA pulled one back
for Mallorca , but Getafe again got away with a 3ºrd goal with an
own goal by Mallorca player RAMIS in the 58th min.















Then Mallorca again gained control & scored the 2ºgoal from a
free-kick from ARANGO ( above), with the equalizer a minute
later by RAMIS who redeemed hiself for his own goal earlier.
























LEVANTE won REAL ZARAGOZA 2-1 & sent the later to the 17th
classification position, one away from the relegation zone. Zaragoza
suddenly finds itself looking at 2ºDivision for next season!
Levante played welled & showed it with its 2ºgoals from GEIJO
(above) in the 20th min & RIGA in the 61ºstmin. Zaragoza pulled one
back in the 66th min via OSCAR, but it was´nt enough.

VILLAREAL & OSASUNA played a 0 - 0 draw.
















ALMERIA who have surprised all season with their good play drew 1-1
with a low placed & in danger ATHLETIC DE BILBAO. The real action
occurred in the 2º half with the 2ºgoals from each side. In form NEGREDO
scored in the 59th min for Almeria, with LLORENTE equalizing in the 73rd
min for Bilbao.
